The mountain is one of the historical birthplaces of the notion of landscape. But in what way does the mountain still form a landscape today? Around this question, “The Landscape Notebooks” seeks to analyze contemporary transformations in the experiences, representations and projects that develop in mountain territories and landscapes.
In a context of affirmation of social issues linked to the quality of living environments, of renewal of landscape theories and practices, as well as of development of university training dedicated to landscape, the review focuses as widely and precisely as possible on achievements, ideas, works and projects devoted to landscape, in France and abroad
Its resolutely multidisciplinary approach allow him to explore the knowledge and practices of design at the same time as contributions from the human sciences, literature and the arts.
