For twenty years, filmmaker Philip Andelman has traveled the world, from Los Angeles to the beaches of Sardinia, collecting places, encounters, and experiences along the way.

This passion gave rise to Tripping With Phil, which began as a newsletter and evolved into a series of photo essays and travel writings that explore the world off the beaten path.

When Au Vieux Campeur launched, Philip immediately recognized a shared passion for adventure and well-crafted objects.

This encounter gave rise to a unique collaboration.
