Author: Paul Dumée (1849 –1930), first-class pharmacist and eminent mycologist
of his time, was the author of numerous works on mushrooms.
Illustrator: Aimé Bessin (1870 –1942), son of a Parisian engraver and naturalist painter,
worked in gouache and watercolor and contributed to the illustration of numerous naturalist works on all subjects.
